The Chinese Language Institute (CLI) is a leading center for Chinese language and cultural studies. Founded in 2009 by two American brothers who have lived in China for a combined 20-plus years, CLI has hosted students from more than 45 countries and 300 universities. The institute occupies a five-story center (www.studycli.org/center) in the beautiful southern Chinese city of Guilin and employs over 40 full-time team members. CLI is the premier path to China for Chinese language learners, university students seeking to earn college credit, and faculty-led student groups in search of a fully customizable educational travel experience. CLI is proud to be officially affiliated with Guangxi Normal University, a leading university in southern China that is home to over 30,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
