Gallant Technologies was founded in Maryland in 2016 by operationally focused scientists and engineers from the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL). Gallant focuses on transitioning key products from the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T) to operational environments. Staffed by cutting-edge researchers and staff trained in pharmaceutical grade production (GMP), Gallant Technologies is licensed to do experimental explosives manufacturing in order to produce new products, with a continued focus on capability enhancement.
