Sorbonne University is an alliance of 11 university institutions committing to strengthen the relations between them and create new academic courses and research programs in the fields of science, medicine, human and social science, engineering, business management, and arts. The alliance educates nearly 60 000 students on a yearly basis, 5 000 of which are PhD students.
