Salvage Chief, LLC is an asset holding company of the S/V Salvage Chief, the former LSM 380 ( A World War II Storied Vessel). With a World reputation of saving 100s of millions of dollars for marine insurance companies by salvaging stricken vessels on the West Coast of the US, the Salvage Chief is well known for its victories and accomplishments. The Vessel was purchased in 2015 from the Marine Salvage Consortium and Fred Devine Salvage and Diving. It is now used for Military training as well as restoration for Emergency Contingencies by the Non-Profit "Salvage Chief (LSM380) Foundation".
