Founded in 2021, the Australia-Japan Business Council WA (AJBC-WA) is a nonprofit, membership-based organisation that aims to expand and deepen two-way trade and investment and engagement between Western Australian and Japanese enterprises.    AJBC-WA is a platform where businesses can network and work in close collaboration with the Council in order to promote bilateral trade and allow member enterprises to achieve their objectives.    The objectives of the AJBC-WA are as follows:   * Promote and encourage bilateral trade through the sourcing of relevant information, the accessing of business and market experts and the identification of key decision-makers. * Broaden relationships with key Western Australian and Japanese stakeholders with interests in trade and investment and foster economic cooperation and partnerships. * Enhance intercultural relations, goodwill and mutual understanding between businesses active in, or interested in, the Western Australia – Japan relationship. * Engage with other organisations as appropriate that contribute to or influence the WA-Japan relationship. * Deliver a program of initiatives, such as business and social networking events, to assist members of AJBC to achieve their objectives.   For more information about membership benefits and opportunities with AJBC-WA, visit our website at https://ajbcwa.org/ or email info@ajbcwa.org.
