Sundance Family Foundation
www.sundancefamilyfoundation.orgThe Sundance Family Foundation makes grants that support youth development and strengthen family stability by creating career pathways for young adults. This strategy advances the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 8.b.1: The development of a equitable, youth specific workforce development system. These pathways include 1) career exploration 2) short-term training with internships 3) job placements and apprenticeships and 4) job retention supports. As a result, young adults can attain a middle-skills salaried job with benefits within two to three years and earn $55-$73,000--enough to move a young family out of poverty. Ask to see our documentary: Earn and Learn: Advancing Career Pathways and find out how you can sponsor a viewing party! The best employers in town and youth serving nonprofits appear in our weekly Zoomerkammers podcast and are part of the Zoomerkammer Directory that we share with over 300+ workforce navigators, program managers, and high school counsellors. Contact us if you are in the Greater Twin Cities area and would like to become part of these partnerships. Finally, we hold more than 85% of the assets in our corpus in ESG (environmental, social and governance) impact investing. This has included shareholder advocacy, and participation in national coalitions that bring visibility and change to our corporate partners.
