The Baltimore Sun, which is owned by Tribune Publishing and serves as the flagship of the Baltimore Sun Media, is Maryland's largest daily news organization, reaching more than 1 million readers each week from across the state in print and online. Founded in 1837 as a four-page penny tabloid, The Sun publishes general news, business, features, sports and opinion. Under the motto "Light For All," The Sun has won 16 Pulitzer Prizes.
