SOL is a privately owned shipping and logistics group with operations including tramp and liner shipping with bulk carriers between Scandinavia, the Baltics and the Eastern Mediterranean. SOL also offers project cargo and military transport and is a tonnage provider through the subsidiary TransProCon. SOL is also the majority owner of logistics company Scandinavian Logistics Partners AB, which specialises in international transport by rail, sea, road and air. Together with Wallenius Lines, SOL also owns the shipping company WALLENIUS SOL, which operates a line service from the Gulf of Bothnia to and from northern Europe and the UK.
