J. Carver Distillery, located in Waconia, MN is named for famed Minnesota explorer Jonathon Carver. His audacious pioneering spirit is found at the heart of our distillery. We are driven to explore the local bounty of the Minnesota River Valley. Not interested in the production of me-to product, we are committed to collaboration with local farmers and barrel coopers to develop unique spirits of exceptional quality by coaxing forth magic from the cold climate fruits and grains grown nearby. J. Carver is a grain-to-glass distillery that produces noticeably exceptional rye whiskeys, bourbons, brandies, barrel gin, vodkas, gins, and specialty spirits. Our methods intertwine time-honored craftsmanship, modern technology, and a commitment to sustainability. J. Carver Distillery is open to the public on weekends for tours and sampling, with specialty cocktails offered in the cocktail lounge. J. Carver is a first class destination for private events including corporate meetings, board room offsites, client appreciation events, casual gatherings, grooms dinners and family celebrations. The event staff creates and executes perfectly unique and memorable experiences for large and small groups in one of our venues.
