National University of Medical Sciences commonly referred as NUMS is a public research university located in the Rawalpindi, Pakistan, The university was established in 2015. Previously AMC was affiliated with NUST but now it is affiliated with NUMS which is military-run medical institute. It consists of 5 army run medical colleges which are the followings: 1. Army Medical College, Rawalpindi, Punjab 2. Armed Forces Post Graduate Medical Institute, Rawalpindi, Punjab 3. CMH Lahore Medical College, Lahore, Punjab 4. CMH Multan Institute of Medical Sciences, Multan, Punjab 5. Wah Medical College, Wah, Punjab 6. Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences, Quetta, Baluchistan
