We are a wholly volunteer run organisation and are proud of the work that our passionate, determined and tireless team contribute in working towards creating projects that support the ADHD Community in Australia. Our aim is to support and work collectively and collaboratively with all those on this journey to change We operate the National ADHD Helpline and Support Line contact the National Helpline at https://adhdfoundation.org.au/contact A D H D i s not a Behavioural C ondi t ion It is a complex life-long Neuro-Developmental Disorder (DSM-5) . ADHD directly affects a million diagnosed Australians – yet it remains the most underdiagnosed and under-treated mental health condition. With diagnosis and the right treatment plan, the majority of those with ADHD can successfully manage their condition and lead fulfilling and productive lives. We have identified the needs of those with ADHD Australia wide, and there are many. We need your support and we need financial assistance, to advocate and negotiate for those who are unable to negotiate that support for themselves. A relatively young organisation, with a team of ADHD experts, knowledge, action and support to the ADHD communities in Australia in excess of 200 years. Our charity ethos is that of teamwork and hard work driven by a passionate belief Our work within the ADHD community takes us across the whole of the lifespan focussing on high priorities and urgent needs as identified on the ‘ADHD Foundation Gaps in Service’ list. We have a particular focus on teens and tweens, young adults and seniors with a determination.
