HC Prvo plinarsko drustvo Zagreb is a handball club from Zagreb, Croatia. It competes in the VELUX EHF Champions League, SEHA - Gazprom League, Croatian Premier Handball League & Croatian Handball Cup, The team was formerly known as Badel 1862 Zagreb, Banka Croatia Zagreb and Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb. Since 2014, it goes by the name Prvo plinarsko drustvo Zagreb (PPD Zagreb). HC PPD Zagreb won 10 Yugoslav championships, continuing its domination in Croatia, where the Zagreb team won every single national championship in the last 25 years. The club achieved its greatest success in Europe twice, in 1992 and 1993, when it was crowned champion of Europe. PPD Zagreb also became the regional champion in 2012/2013 by winning the SEHA - Gazprom League.
