Tetsushi Mizokami ventured into establishing his own cafe in 1985, under the name of Uncle Tetsu, which stemmed from a local nickname given to him by the visiting youth. After Uncle Tetsu’s initial success in Japan, the company launched cafes and bakeries across the globe creating memorable experiences for anyone who encountered Uncle Tetsu and its unique offerings. Today, we are successfully operating in 20+ countries including Japan, Australia, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Taiwan with over 200 products.
