Thebes Academy
www.thebesacademy.orgIntegrated Thebes Academy (ITA), as an independent institution and a private non-profit educational organization, was established in 1995 in the wake of the new Egyptian Government policy to encourage higher education in the private sector. Many higher education institutes, in Egypt were waiting for the opportunity to establish a proper private university once the government decided to examine the application files. ITA was one of the earliest approved applications. ITA is one of the few accredited private institutions in Egypt. ITA consists of two centers: one is in El-Haram area of Giza and the other is in the Maadi area of Cairo. All educational programs at ITA follow the international credit-hour system. The system gives the student the flexibility in selecting the courses s/he prefers during her/his study period at ITA, at the time s/he prefers, with the assistance of her/his academic advisor. ITA takes over the responsibility of establishing professional training programs for its students through cooperative links with a number of the Egyptian authorities, companies, and organizations.
