The first Spiffy Saturday took place at Universal Orlando Resort™ in the spring of 2016. It was created as a fan-run event for vintage lovers from far and wide to share their creative, classic, and unique styles with like-minded people. Universal Studios Florida seemed the perfect backdrop to showcase each person’s take on timeless fashions. The first event created a community where people came together seamlessly to relish in the fashion of times gone by. Since the first event, the Spiffy Saturday team has hosted three seasonal outings each year with great success. The sense of community from the first Spiffy Saturday has remained, even as the event grows in size and attendance. This is the core of what Spiffy Saturday is about today — a tight-knit community that enjoys dressing to the nines, and encouraging people to step outside the comfort of modern fashion while learning more about vintage style.
