Women in Computing and Data Science at Berkeley is for women interested in pursuing a career in technological fields to join a supportive community that teaches essential skills and provides mentorship and networking opportunities from professionals in the industry. We have two committees in Data Science and Machine Learning, which focus on teaching intermediate technical concepts (Data Visualization, Feature Engineering, Data Leakage, Cross Validation, VGBoost, Random Forests, etc.) and working on introductory projects in Python and SQL throughout the semester.
