NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION Young Initiative The largest and most active public organization of Skadovsk district, we specialize in activating civil society and involving young people in community life. Founded in 2011 to implement the annual festival of controversial dance "Battle for the Sea". It currently includes representatives of various civil society organizations in the region. Active volunteers, media resources, and dozens of implemented projects in the period from 2016. Projects we are proud of: 2011 - 2017 - Street Festival of Break Dance and Hip-Hop Culture "Battle for the Sea" 2016 - art installation “I Love Skadovsk” - crowdfunding project, estimated at UAH 50,000. 2016 - "New Year's Cossack in the central square" - funding from Skadovsk MR - UAH 60,000. 2017 - Art Project “Alley of Steaming Umbrellas” - crowdfunding project, estimated at UAH 10,000. 2017 - “Pitching Social Projects in Skadovsk” - funding for 14 projects from the British Council in Ukraine - 75,000 and Skadovsk MR - 111,000 UAH. 2017 - 2020 - Restoration of the stadium of the Eastern district of Skadovsk and holding of 3x3 streetball competitions "Voenka Basket". 2017 - Skadovsk Freelance Incubator Project 2018 - 2020 - Sociological research "Tourist season in Skadovsk and Lazurny" 2018 - Partner of all-Ukrainian projects between civil society organizations "Art of Peaceful Dialogue", "Media for Youth Centers", "Festival of Active Citizens of Kherson" - funding from the British Council in Ukraine. 2018 - Skadovsk online television project "Perspective" 2019 - Start of the Skadovsk Youth Center project - crowdfunding project.
