Energy & Environmental Research Center
www.undeerc.orgThe Energy & Environmental Research Center (EERC) is recognized as one of the world's leading developers of cleaner, more efficient energy to power the world and environmental technologies to protect and clean our air, water, and soil. Today’s energy and environmental needs require a total-systems approach that focuses on technical details while retaining a broad perspective. Utilizing over 65 years of energy research, we are a driving force for innovation and new opportunities in the energy industry. Our research portfolio consists of a wide array of strategic energy and environmental solutions, including oil and gas, clean coal technologies, CO2 sequestration, energy and water sustainability, hydrogen technologies, air toxics and fine particulate, mercury measurement and control, alternative fuels, wind energy, biomass, water management, flood prevention, global climate change, waste utilization, energy-efficient technologies, and contaminant cleanup. We are a high-tech, nonprofit branch of the University of North Dakota (UND), working in partnership with clients to develop, refine, demonstrate, and commercialize marketable products that provide practical solutions to real-world challenges.
