SECMON1 was founded in 2017, by a team of three partners, Chris McNaughton, David Graham and Nicholas Gontscharow. The partners had extensive experience in large multi-national organisations in the important cyber security areas of Insider Threat, Employee Monitoring, Data Governance, Workplace Investigations and Digital Forensics. They had become increasingly dissatisfied with the services available in the market. They found that software vendors were pushing solutions without understanding if it was right for the business. They found professional services were overly expensive and rarely delivered what was promised. What was clear, were vendors thought very short term and did not understand the challenges faced by business. The primary focus for SECMON1 is to understand the unique challenges faced by business.
