Canoe Outpost-Peace River, founded in 1969, is Florida’s oldest and one of its largest paddlesport outfitters. Canoe Outpost-Peace River offers visitors the opportunity for wildlife viewing, swimming, fossil hunting, birding, fishing, picnicking, hiking, wilderness camping, glamping, canoeing, and kayaking on the beautiful Peace River. The Peace River is a designated State Paddle Trail and one that offers vast wilderness and non-wilderness camping on the riverbank.
