Canaan has pioneered large-scale precision viticulture in China, and integrated leading-edge “green” farming concepts as well as a vineyard-wide plant climate monitoring and response system to ensure an optimal growing environment. Founded in 2006, Canaan farms over 2600 acres (over 1000 hectares) of vineyards, making it the largest single grape grower in China, and has its own winery. This allows complete control over the end-to-end processes of viticulture and oenology, ensuring the biggest levels of productivity and quality. Moreover, our word-class team of technicians will extend their know-how and expertise through training and research to propagate high-end techniques at other vineyards and wineries across China, to raise standards across the whole industry.
