SICAS is emerging from the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Co-Me hosted by the ETH Zurich. Co-Me was an internationally embedded network of Swiss research institutes and clinics. It smoothly blends into SICAS providing a support platform for collaboration in translational R&D, education, technology transfer and innovation promotion. The mission is bringing together scientists, engineers, surgeons and entrepreneurs for innovative partnership. SICAS helps to empower projects and their impact of Computer Assisted Surgery from the bench to the bedside to improve the outcome and for patients benefit.
