The Magnolia Aquatic Club or MAC is a program celebrating its 15th year as a USA Swimming Club for the 2017-2018 season. MAC is a member of United States Swimming, the National Governing Body for swimming in the U.S., and MAC is a Nationally Ranked Club Program. MAC was listed as one of the top 100 swim clubs in the nation through the USA Swimming Club Excellence Program. MAC received the distinguish rating as a “Bronze Medal Club” in 2012 and we became a “Silver Medal Club” in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. Some of MAC'S most recent outstanding accomplishments include; • Five athletes participated in the 2017 World Trials • Two athletes were 18&U National Champions at the World Trials • One Athlete was a National Finalist (Top 8) at the World Trials • Two Athletes Qualified for the Junior World Team • One athlete qualified for the Junior Open Water World Championships in Hong Kong • Two swimmers are on the USA Swimming National Junior Team • We had multiple qualifiers for the Winter & Summer Junior Nationals • 7 of our graduating seniors went on to swim in college with 6 at Division 1 Schools. • Several swimmers ranked in the top 10 in the National Age Group rankings • Two individuals ranked in the top 25 in the World Rankings. • Several state age group champions • 7th Place Team Finish at the 2017 Short Course TAGS and awarded the top up and coming age group program in Texas.
