An OTB.Global Super Kitchen is a centralized commercial kitchen facility that procures, processes, cooks, and distributes thousands of meals daily. Super Kitchens provide an innovative approach to supplying thousands of hot meals a day to those most in need in the communities in which the kitchen is located to help eliminate hunger and malnutrition. This is achieved by applying a unique manufacturing approach to the production of hot meals. By doing this, the Super Kitchen achieves an economy of scale that allows the meals to be produced at the lowest possible cost while maintaining the highest degree of nutritional value within a diverse menu. Each OTB.Global kitchen is operated with detailed and standardized processes and procedures. All administrative aspects, including delivery and reporting are managed by professionally trained staff. Kitchens hire and train full time employees that are indigenous to the area. Standardized menus are created to please the local palate using local produce and spices in every meal. Distribution is controlled to the point of plating the food so food theft and gender inequality is eliminated almost entirely.
