Women in Localization is a leading organization that offers professional peer support to women and their allies in the localization industry, with thousands of members across the globe. Started in the San Francisco Bay Area back in 2008, Women In Localization provides opportunities for networking, education, career advancement, mentoring, and recognition for their accomplishments through its global chapters. The India Chapter started in June 2019. Our aim is to foster a community of sisterhood that inspires professional equality in the localization industry and supports women through all phases of their careers.
