My work in tropical horticulture and arboriculture, sustainable landscape development, and integrated pest and mosquito management has been shown to be cost effective. I have consulted with architects, owners and developers on new and existing landscape developments worldwide to create sustainable and cost effective landscapes. I also work as an expert witness based upon my almost 40 years of experience working in a zoological theme park as the Director of Horticulture and Facilities Manager, as a member of the American Society of Consulting Arborists and an ISA certified municipal arborist. I am certified by IML Wood Testing Systems in the use of a micro drilling device that measures the density of wood. This equipment aids in the detection and diagnosis of wood decay inside trees.
