IDEA is a group providing government with services and products to improve public management, in particular for the implementation of Results-Based Management (RBM) at national and sub-national levels. IDEA includes three companies: The Institute for Development in Economics and Administration (IDEA International) which offers capacity-building and consultancy services; IDEA-Solutions which specializes in software design and implementation of information systems to support RBM processes in the public sector; and IDEA Europe which offers all services of IDEA International and IDEA-Solutions from Europe, with a special focus on Public Financial Management and Integrated Financial Management Information Systems. IDEA supported 70 countries in the world in the last 20 years.
