CAPPS’ staff, lobbyists, and legal counsel influence, support, or actively oppose bills that are introduced annually in the state legislature that affect you. Along with our political action committee, the Independent Coalition of Educators Political Action Committee (ICEPAC) we help you protect your rights to operate your school in a business-like manner. Public Relations: Our sector changes thousands of lives for the better every year. CAPPS is engaged in bringing the very positive stories of our member schools to the Governor, the Legislature, the media and the general public. CAPPS’ member schools are featured in press releases, electronic updates and other media formats.
