At the Physical Activity Alliance (PAA), our mission is to create, support, and advocate policy and system changes that enable all Americans to enjoy physically active lives. In pursuit of this mission, PAA coordinates broadly with industry leaders to: - Identify, evaluate, and promote promising evidence-based policies that promote physical activity - Provide strategies for health care, recreation, transportation, and other sectors of the economy to enhance physical activity opportunities - Lead professional development opportunities to education professionals, students, and civic leaders in public health, education, and beyond.
