Muirden Senior College
www.muirden.sa.edu.auMuirden Senior College is an inner city co-educational school established in 1900 for students completing Years 11 and 12, and offers a wide variety of SACE subjects at Stage 1 and Stage 2. The College does not require students to sit an entrance examination to enrol, and there are no mandatory extracurricular activities. It is our aim to remain a small school community of between 100 and 110 full-time equivalent enrolments. This means that our classes are much smaller than in traditional schools. Class sizes average between 10 and 15 students allowing teachers more time to work with students on an individual basis. Opportunity and self-sufficiency are two features students experience while studying with us. A team of both experienced and young, vibrant, highly qualified, specialist teachers work closely with students creating a nurturing, relaxed environment, offering one-on-one support when needed. This encouraging and cooperative atmosphere supports students through the transition from school to university.
