Established in 2006, You Choose Charitable Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded to provide education, financial stability, and proper healthcare to the children of Haiti. As of 2007, only 30% of Haitian youth remain in school pat grade 6 – a percentage that has dramatically dwindled since the earthquake which devastated Haiti in January of 2010. The lack of retention in Haitian schools is mainly due to the steep costs necessary to attend these institutions. Most of Haiti’s Schools are privately owned and operated which has created a major barrier to education for the underprivileged children of the country. It is our goal to fund the education – and therefore the livelihood – of Haitian students. Your charitable donations to the foundation are tax-deductible as allowed by law. For every donation you give, another student will be afforded the ability to attend a participating educational institution. These students will not merely be provided with tuition fees, but also the required resources for their attendance as well as skills for parents necessary to foster achievement.
