The European Institute for Digital Communication (EUINDICOM) is a non-governmental organization founded to improve, study and research digital, augmentative and alternative communications. The Institute is located in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia.  EUINDICOM's primary task is to conduct top-level research with a special focus on complex interdisciplinary communication programs, development of innovative research, participation in higher education, transfer of knowledge to the economy with the aim of developing new high-tech products and strengthening social awareness of the importance and necessity of knowledge and science in modern society. EUINDICOM performs these tasks in cooperation with educational institutions, universities, scientific institutions and other related institutions in Croatia and abroad. The mission of the European Institute for Digital Communication is to acquire new knowledge that contributes to the development of digital, augmentative and alternative communications, the application of scientific research, the creation of innovation, the development and application of optimal, applicable and socially useful forms of communication for the development of society in its entirety. EUINDICOM is seen as a top research institution that in the coming years will become the leading national, regional and European recognizable center of excellence in research and education in digital, augmentative and alternative communication sciences and related scientific fields from the scope of work of the Institute.
