With a focus on BIPOC, immigrant, and female-led operations, we exist to create financial opportunity for borrowers who have historically faced barriers to capital. Whether this is through racial or gender discrimination, lack of collateral, or lack of business skills, we work with borrowers of all stripes to build genuine equity into regional foodsheds. Foodshed Capital was certified as a Community Development Financial Institution in 2020 and operates throughout the mid-Atlantic.
