Tyrecycle

www.tyrecycle.com.au

Tyrecycle commenced operations in 1992 and is now the largest tyre recycler in Australia. Tyrecycle collects scrap and imperfect tyres from manufacturers, retail partners, local councils and other sources and dispose of them in accordance with environmental regulations. Tyres suitable for recycling are processed at our secure facilities across Australia. The result is quality rubber powders, chips, granules and crumb used in a wide variety of innovative applications - from manufacturing, road repair and construction to playgrounds, new tyres, brake pads and sporting surfaces to name a few. Tyrecycle is also working with government and industry to increase awareness of the importance of tyre recycling and associated product development. Tyrecycle was integral in the establishment of the Australian Tyre Recycling Association and was involved in research and development of new applications for scrap tyres, minimising the number of tyres entering waste streams and landfill. Tyrecycle has a national processing capacity and currently processes over 110,000 tonnes per annum into a range of products. Tyrecycle has strategic partnerships with over 1,300 tyre retailers, across Australia, in every state and territory. These retailers are proudly involved in the tyre recycle program.
