Downtown College Prep (DCP) prepares first-generation students for college success. DCP was the first charter school in Silicon Valley and currently operates two high schools and two middle schools in San Jose, CA. DCP currently serves 1750 students in grades 5-12 and provides college coaching, mentoring, and college scholarships to over 400 alumni. DCP is recognized locally and nationally as a leader in first-generation college success. 96% of DCP graduates attend college. DCP's college completion rate is 5x that of similar students nationwide.
