The Canadian Montessori Teacher Education Institute is proud to provide training to adults to become certified Montessori Teachers with a diploma accredited by MACTE and issued by the institute. Teachers are trained to accompany children through a Montessori educational method based on self-confidence and constant discovery in a rich and controlled environment. The Montessori approach for education is well re nound throughout the world and we are pleased to share our passion for the Montessori cause with other passionate of children education, for a peaceful world. Our programs are based on a 10 to 12 months duration period with classes on a weekly basis and a practical component providing experience with children in a real Montessori classroom. Children are the center of the attention and we, as teachers, as parents, are there to guide them fulfilling their endeavors. Many little successes accomplished on a daily basis will provided to any child self-confidence. This image of himself will tell people ''I can do it''. The Montessori teacher in a classroom will always leave the attention to the child, he will provide the tools to find the answers the child is looking for. The institute is an archipelago with several training centers hosted in Montessori schools throughout Canada.
