Civitas runs an outstanding network of after-school classes and Saturday schools across the country. Our focus is to provide very low cost English and maths lessons to children aged 7-11 who benefit from extra educational support but do not have access to expensive private tuition. Civitas Schools are located in the heart of communities - in church halls, schools and community centres. From dedicated teachers to excellent resources, and small class sizes to conveniently located centres, children thrive in the Civitas Schools environment. We are currently recruiting for English, math and support teacher positions in London for the academic year 2018-19 starting this September, for weekday evenings and/or Saturdays during the day. Applicants must be able to commit to teaching for at least one year. We want teachers with a love of subject knowledge, more than than formal qualifications, although previous tutoring experience would be welcomed.
