Back to the Table Cooking School and Commercial Kitchen provides hands on cooking classes that are great for team building, client and employee appreciation, and company celebrations. We have a variety of menus and each class is led by an experienced chef. The event is completely organized by our staff, you just show up and have a great time. After you prepare the meal, the entire team sits at a table and can enjoy their gourmet meal together. At the end of the event, our staff will do all the clean up and you can just enjoy each others company. We have ample parking, we are close to the freeway and BART is only a block away. Back to the Table Cooking School and Commercial Kitchen also has a full production kitchen on the second floor. It is an ideal facility for food and meal producers, caterers, bakers, and any small business that needs a health department certified facility to prepare food products. Our facility is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are no long term contracts which gives your business great flexibility. Back to the Table shifts are scheduled on a first-come-first-serve basis. If your preferred hours are not available we will work with you and find an alternative that suits your needs. We understand that a fixed schedule does not work for everybody in the food industry. We can be flexible within the schedule to be in sync with your production levels and seasonal order changes. The equipment that is available on the second floor production kitchen: • 4 Full size convection/conventional gas ovens • 6 burner gas range • 10 –ft x 10-ft walk in refrigerator • 8-ft x 8-ft walk in freezer • Microwave • 60 quart mixer • Two 8 feet work tables • Cooling racks • Food Processor • Scale • 2 x 5 work stations available. • Space available for packaging and staging product • Internet connection
