Launched in February 2015, the Vista Foundation was established six months earlier when Vista listed and became Vista Group. At that time several of Vista’s founding shareholders determined that the company would establish a charitable social responsibility organisation aiming to help ensure the continued growth and success of all things film in New Zealand – Vista’s founding and home market.
