The Event industry isn't dead, it's just taken a short pause, or break, or as we like to say 'a brief InterMission'. But this doesn't have to mean no-work. Some sectors including medical services, logistics, agriculture, construction and customer services suffer from sizeable shortages of reliable workers throughout the year. Event Professionals, with their versatility, productive and punctual attitude, have skills that are transferrable across many industries. InterMission is the only platform that is taking on the task of getting event professionals back into work. This initiative is part of a supercharged campaign linking up with major industries around the UK. We've found work for previously jobless event professionals in some good, long term, decent earning jobs, including in farming, logistics and security installation services. The work ranged from standard manual work to sparky-type-jobs or even skilled driving. And we're speaking to many other sectors currently, too!
