Association of Esports Psychology (AEP) is a consulting firm that seeks to create a more professional, healthy, and sustainable culture within esports. With a base in psychology, AEP supports gamers and their surrounding network to construct the best foundation for a successful esports career – both in and outside the game. The AEPs exist not only to prevent bad things from happening but also to increase the likelihood of great things happening. AEP consists of sport psychology consultants who’s amassed vast experience from working with gamers and esporters of diversity in terms of background, gender, age, and skill levels. What holds us together is our passionate commitment to improving conditions that influence the quality of life for the better. Thus far, we have: - Been invited to host a two-day sport psychology corner during the LEC finals in Malmö. We also held two captivating lectures regarding performance and well-being on the public stage! - Participated in opening Sweden's first Esports laboratory (alongside Halmstad University). - Participating in "Project Esport" where we help the Association for Disabled Children and Adolescents with including people with disabilities to various gaming worlds. - Invited to the Olympics' new venture in esports, Olympic Virtual Series, to hold segments on how sport psychology can improve gamers' chances of success. - Won an award for holding the best workshop at the European Network of Young Specialists in Sport Psychology (ENYSSP), and held a symposium at the world's largest scientific esport conference, Esport Research Network. - Have created and given lectures on esports for the Swedish Science Festival (Vetenskapsfestivalen) as well as creating Destination E-sports: a video seminar on public health, inclusion, gender equality and integration within esports.
