Sussex Pathways is a criminal justice charity based in Lewes, East Sussex. We work within prisons and communities with the aim of reducing offending behaviours and empowering ex-offenders to make positive life choices. We offer: 1) A mentoring programme that includes a mindfulness-based practice to empower and allow a safe space to explore emotions and self-reflection. 2) A restorative justice service that repairs the harm caused, by giving the harmed person a voice and reducing reoffending. 3) One-to-one support that enables prison residents and ex-residents to become part of the community and to feel self-worth. Our team is comprised of staff, trustees, and volunteers. We work with offenders and victims of crime primarily within Sussex, but we are happy to facilitate out-of-area work when capacity allows.
