City Theatre is a professional non profit Theatre Company based in Miami, Florida. It's mission is to identify and develop new work, specifically the short form genre, in its multiple programming that includes: the annual SUMMER SHORTS FESTIVAL: America's Short Play Festival; the Festival Family Musical; the Shorts 4 Kids school and community outreach tours; the CityWrights Weekend for Playwrights conference; and the City Theatre National Award for Short Playwriting Contest.
