When Josh and Lydia founded Martin Consulting, they brought together almost twenty years of experience with small business management, branding, and marketing. Having worked with other consulting firms for years, it became evident to both of them that many clients were receiving outdated advice and guidance. The services these firms sell are often overpriced and truly unneeded by the client, and sometimes just plain ill-advised. When Josh ran for State House, it became even more evident that there was a severe lack of resources available to Democratic candidates across Oklahoma. Josh and Lydia love this state and have spent their lives being politically engaged. With this new discovery, the two discovered a new way to help advance progressive values in Oklahoma. Martin Consulting exists to help elect Democratic candidates who are selected and contracted not based on their fundraising potential or which law school they graduated from. We work with candidates based on their grassroots potential, connections with local activist groups, and the strength of their values. The Democratic Party is changing, and we want to be a part of that change. We also offer a wide variety of services to non-political entities as well.
