The Sapphire Community Group was established to help young people access work and accredited training. Aiming to increase young people's independence, abilities and freedom to thrive, all while reducing unemployment, mental health issues, crime rates and homelessness. OUR AIM Empowering, Equipping, Inspiring, Training, Mentoring, Motivating and Educating young people aged 5 to 30 years old through Literature, Events, Media and Programmes. OUR OBJECTIVES 1. Reducing mental health issues 2. Reducing homelessness 3. Reducing crime rates 4. Reducing unemployment 5. Increasing young people in education or training 6. Increasing skills development Montra: We are an organisation that aims to reconstruct a broken culture. We represent hope. We represent love. But most of all life. OUR SERVICES THE SAPPHIRE EMPLOYABILITY ACADEMY (SEA) Programme will consist of: Life Sentence Employability Young Offenders Programme, Employability Support, Training, Recruitment, Education, Skills Development, Accreditation Courses, Workshops, Traineeships, Mentoring and Apprenticeships. THE SAPPHIRE ENRICHMENT ACADEMY (EA) Programmes will consist of: • Holiday Provisions • Easter Academy • BIY Summer School • Christmas Club • Lunch Time Clubs and After School Clubs • Tuitions • Workshops in Schools, Libraries and Housing Associations THE SAPPHIRE WELL-BEING ACADEMY The Academy is broken down into: • Food Donations Service • Digital and Equipment Support • Mental Health Support (Mentoring and Counselling) • Housing and Support • Funding, Bursaries and Grants Support • Fitness and Nutrition Support THE SAPPHIRE LEADERSHIP AND IDENTITY ACADEMY (SLIA) Programme consists of: Leadership, Financial Management, Public Speaking, Project Management, Business Planning, Writing Techniques, Bid Writing, Branding and Identity THE SAPPHIRE FIRE NETWORK (SFN) We aim to inspire, empower and motivate vulnerable young BAME women aged 15 to 30 years.
