Archway was registered in 1969 and is a non-profit, multi-service, multi-funded community based social service agency. It has 400+ staff members and 1000+ volunteers providing services at 24 locations namely Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Langley and Chandigarh (India). Started in the mid-sixties by Walter Paetkau who was working for the Mennonite Conference, his assignment was to organize activities for local churches and organisations to get involved in meaningful and community wide activities. Today Archway offers services through 80 different programs.
