“Institute of Civil Engagement” presents a part of the civil society and works in the premises of the non-governmental organization. It was established on the 27th of December, 2012 by the youth group made up of employees with experience from governmental, business and non-governmental sectors. The theoretical knowledge, practical experience and high motivation they have received is a copper bottom guarantee of the highly skilled, honest and successful implementation of their work. “Institute of Civil Engagement” has a mission to support the democratic processes in the government, ensure human rights and, at the same time, encourage active citizenship by cooperating with local and international organizations and government ministries. The aims of the “Institute of Civil Engagement” are the joint creation of a successful organization by employing a strategy of teamwork, vision of long-term development and concrete action plan, also realizing set goals, namely: • Promotion and encouragement of democratic processes in the government. • Protection of human rights. • Increasing the engagement and activity of the civil society. In correspondence with the set principles of the “Institute of Civil Engagement”, particular areas of the organization’s activity work on the below-mentioned matters: • Promotion of civil awareness. • Supporting and bolstering technological innovations. Working on the above-mentioned issues and reaching desirable results will nurture democratic processes in the government, protect human rights and, in doing so, promote active citizenship.
