Upcycle Education, Inc. is a non-profit organization with a mission to inform public schools (K-12) and local policy makers on how to improve school sustainability. Upcycle Education, Inc. researches K-12 public school sustainability accomplishments and benchmarks such endeavors in the context of broader sustainability efforts. The goal is to provide open, accessible information for school officials and policy makers to learn from, in order to establish and improve sustainable best practices. This allows schools to save money by maximizing the efficient use of available resources, while minimizing the adverse social and environmental impacts associated with school operations. Once re-invested into classrooms, these savings can serve to increase the value of our schools by improving student health and performance.
