At JRV Wealth Management Group, our mission is to teach, educate, and help people - especially those in African American communities - maximize their IRA's, 401K's, 403b's, 457 deferred comp and other employer retirement plans so that they retire in comfort and not worry about running out of money. Many people were never taught the importance of finance and money management skills at home or in school. To combat those deficiencies, we have been teaching a basic "investment 101" course, "Sick & Tired of Being Broke", on the campus of Temple University since 2001. We also conduct "live" FREE monthly Retirement Planning Lunch Seminars for retirees within 5 years of retirement. Being in the trenches everyday has given us a clear understanding of some of the most critical concerns many people have and the opportunity to share our experience and knowledge to help them reach their goals.
