Resilience Consulting is a non-profit speciality group of nationally certified Public Safety Counselors and Peer Specialists providing direct services and training to support law enforcement officers and their families.  Resilience Consulting is considered a "peer run" organization. This means it's Board of Directors, Executive Officers, and Program Directors all have lived experience with the issues they're addressing. Their sole focus is on increasing the resilience among active and retired officers, frontline command, administrators and their families. The team has a nationwide reach from offices in Kalamazoo, Michigan and Denver, Colorado. The team intently examines what law enforcement agencies are doing to minimize both psychological and physiological risk and what can be done to overcome the adversities officers face on the street, at the desk, and in their homes. They rely on a combination of lived experience in policing, clinical practice, relevant research, evidenced based programs, and evaluation measures in order to recommend and implement the changes our clients want to make.
